The Clergy Renewal Fund (formerly the Davidson Clergy Center Endowment) is a public, philanthropic, 501 (c) (3) foundation founded in 2005. The Fund is an ecumenical foundation that exists to assist clergy, missionaries, chaplains, and other church professionals to be restored in mind, body, and spirit. The foundation's goal is to nourish the careers and personal lives of clergy and their families.
Our mission is founded on the belief that real people are called to the ministry, people who have the same strengths and weaknesses as those they serve. Clergy Renewal Fund's approach is to provide scholarships for clergy, religious professionals, and their families so they may have access to:
- Mental and physical health services to avoid vocational burnout and nourish personal wholeness;
- Spiritual Direction;
- Career assessment for those intentionally planning the next stage of their ministry;
- Restoration for those who are experiencing a stressful situation in their ministry;
- Educational programs to teach clergy how individuals and communities find healing and hope in the midst of traumatic events and times;
- Assistance for specific needs, including counselors, physicians, attorneys, and various needs for clergy who are unemployed, in transition, or under stress;
- Educational seminars teaching of the dynamics of clergy peer relationships, issues of boundaries, and family dynamics.
Together, with your support, the Fund will award scholarships and grants to those who apply for assistance to effective and successful clergy care programs throughout the United States. The religious community is an anchor of strength and source of guidance to many. We invite you to support these leaders by making a gift through the Clergy Renewal Fund.
We will put your tax-deductible support to work immediately for clergy and their families in need. Your gift will multiply many times, as these pastors return to their congregations and communities.
