DAVIDSON, NC- MARCH 29, 2007: The Clergy Renewal Fund announces the appointment of the Reverend Dr. E. Thomas Miller as Director of Resource Development. Dr. Miller holds degrees from Davidson College, Union Theological Seminary in Virginia, and Boston University. A native of Chattanooga, Tennessee, he served as the Program Director for the Montreat Conference Center. Dr. Miller is a Presbyterian pastor who has conducted research on spirituality in faith-based, intentional communities including Iona, Scotland and L’Arche, France, and served as the scholar in residence at St. Mary’s College of the University at St. Andrews, Scotland.

As Director of Resource Development, Dr. Miller will be working with individuals, churches, foundations, and other organizations to develop funds for clergy wellness. The Clergy Renewal Fund is an ecumenical foundation whose mission is to assist clergy, missionaries, chaplains, and other church professions to be restored in mind, body, and spirit. The Fund’s goal is to nourish the careers and lives of clergy and their families.

He is married to Yvonne Raftellis Miller. They have two married children and two grandchildren. They now reside in Mooresville, North Carolina.
