Davidson Clergy Center "Comprehensive Renewal Program" provides clergy, religious professionals and their families access to psychological, physical, and wellness services. Each group is limited to six individuals. The Comprehensive Renewal Program focuses on personal and community assessment, strengthening mental, physical, and spiritual health. Davidson Clergy Center is located in Davidson, North Carolina. DCC is a clinically based program. Each client receives:

Eighteen hours of small group consultation led by a LPC

One to three hours of spiritual direction by a member of Spiritual Directors International

Four hours of individual physical training by a Certified Personal Trainer

A fitness physical by a board-certified physician

Lab work with cholesterol/lipid, glucose/blood sugar, and body mass index profiles

Individual interpretation of lab tests by a Registered Nurse

NEOTM Personality Inventory and interpretation

Development and analysis of a personal five-year plan

A written summary by the individual counselor, including an analysis of the client's strengths, areas of growth, and specific recommendations.
Six hours of individual therapy by a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Center for Justice and
Peacemaking "Strategies for Trauma Awareness
and Resilience" (STAR) Program
STAR
five-day seminars use a variety of teaching methods for groups of
approximately 24 individuals in each program. It is an
international educational program to teach clergy and others the
immediate and long-term effects of trauma. The workshops meet in
classroom settings to educate clergy how individuals, communities,
and societies find healing and hope in the midst of traumatic events
and times. STAR is specifically educational and Non-clinical.
Feeding The Shepherd is a one-day educational seminar teaching the dynamics of clergy peer relationships, issues of boundaries with church members, and family dynamics. Prayer and fellowship are held on the evening as a day's drive is necessary for most participants, an evening diner, prayer and fellowship is held on the evening before the day of the seminar, and a concluding breakfast with prayer is held the morning after the program. Feeding the Shepherd is administered by the Hinton Rural Life Center.

Pastor Care is a
referral network designed to assist clergy with specific needs.
The majority of Pastor Care's funding is used for an administrative
infrastructure to coordinate a national network of volunteers.
These volunteers included physicians, counselors, attorneys, various
businesses, and others who give their services and products to
clergy who are unemployed, in transition, or under stress.
